Duncan finished off the second period with a 1-of-2 effort from the line and the Spurs were up 42-38 at the break. Things stayed tight in the third, but Parker's three-point play put the Spurs ahead 55-51 at the midway point. However, the Bobcats closed out the quarter on a high note, mounting a 13-2 run. A layup from Jackson and Raymond Felton's jumper quickly tied it at 55 and San Antonio aided the Charlotte effort with some ice cold shooting. After Jackson finished the quarter with a driving layup, the Bobcats had a 64-57 lead at the end of three. Charlotte pulled away early in the fourth as six straight points to begin the quarter had the hosts up by double-digits, 70-57, with 9:17 to play after a Diaw layin. Wallace's steal and dunk stretched the advantage to 82-65 with just under six minutes left and the Spurs were unable to answer down the stretch. Game Notes Despite the loss, the Spurs are still 5-1 lifetime against the Bobcats in Charlotte and have taken six of the last seven contests overall...San Antonio, which shot 38.8 percent from the field, fell to 7-8 on the road this season. Charlotte finished 46.1 percent from the floor.
