Bondarenko tops Peer to win Hobart titleTennis Betting Lines01/15/2010 - Hobart, Australia (Sportsbook Betting Lines) - Alona Bondarenko of Ukraine captured the title at the Hobart International tennis event with a straight-set victory over Shahar Peer on Saturday. The fourth-seeded Bondarenko earned a 6-2, 6-4 triumph over the second-seeded Israeli Peer to improve to 2-3 in title matches. She won her maiden championship at Luxembourg in 2006. Bondarenko collected $37,000 with the win. Both players are set for the Australian Open next week. Peer is the 29th seed and will open against Lucie Hradecka of the Czech Republic, while Bondarenko is seeded 31st and will face a qualifier in round one. The 2010 Aussie Open will get underway Monday in Melbourne.
