Trailing 29-24 with over 1 1/2 minutes left in the first quarter, the Warriors took total control by bridging the first and second periods with an amazing 42-7 run. Watson ignited Golden State by scoring the first six points of the burst. He had a total of 13 points during the surge, which Anthony Tolliver capped with a trey for a 66-36 margin with two minutes remaining until halftime. The Warriors made five shots from beyond the arc during the impressive run. Golden State outscored the Kings 42-16 in the second to build a comfortable 72-45 lead at the break. The Warriors cruised to victory in the second half.
