Two James free throws pushed Cleveland's lead to 44-25 with five minutes left in the quarter, which ended with a 53-41 score. Maxiell put in two from the foul line with just over five minutes left in the third to cut the deficit to 64-53. Hickson then bookended a pair of Anthony Parker three-pointers with a pair of layups for a healthy 74-53 advantage. Parker, who ended with 11 points, finished the quarter with a jumper and the 81-59 differential was never challenged in the final 12 minutes. Game Notes James also handed out seven assists...Cleveland has won seven in a row against the Pistons, who are winless in their last four trips to Cleveland...The Cavs outscored the Pistons at the foul line, 23-11.

The questions really lie on defense, where it feels like DT Ndamukong Suh is going to be trying to stop opposing teams all by himself. This year should show some marked improvement in the Motor City.
